People learn from a young age what friendship is or do we. Some people have experienced what a lifelong friend is. However to some friends come and go. As we go through life, it is normal to meet many people, but most of them will never be a friend. Most of the people will only be a casual acquaintance. From my experience I learned that people will come into one’s life for a reason and then as quickly as they came into a person’s life, they leave just as quickly. They leave for numerous reasons. I didn’t want to be the loser of the group, stuck making minimum wage. Last but not least, a friend’s health could inspire a career. From my personal experience, I have lost several friends due to cancer, car accidents, and other medical problems. From losing so many people it made me want to help people. By losing so many friends I have decided to become a nurse and maybe one day a doctor. Friends can help one achieve a better career.
Another way, a friend can influence a person is their relationships. Some friends can have a good influence, while others can have a bad influence. Some friends mean well, but there are some that would do anything to tear a person’s relationship apart. I know that when I am have a difficult time in my relationship, I turn to a good friend. However, one time I turned to the wrong friend who wanted my boyfriend for herself and she used everything I had said against me. On the other hand, I can turn to a friend and she can offer the best advice. Some friends may be jealous of one’s relationship because they miss how things were when the person in the relationship was single. A reason for this may be because the friend sees the person settling down and he or she doesn’t want that. He or she were used to having a person’s time.
