AbstractTo make different employees values and attitudes work together employees need to distinguish ideas, behaviors and character and initiate interactive talk which creates understanding about why the values are necessary. And describe the gaps between ideas and behavior, and produce steps to close the employee's gaps. The process to break barriers to bicultural and multicultural workplaces is not an easy or short-term process. As a result, the workplace is even more multicultural. Now, think about what you have read about today's job market. Today Employers look to recruit employees who have good communication and interpersonal skills and are team players. Those skills are even more important as the American work force expands to include a wide variety of culture.It is hard to believe that in this country people are treated so unfairly, we must help to change the laws. We can volunteer to help in nonprofit organizations, such as the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund. This group has helped strike down proposition 187 in California, which tried to deprive education, health care, and social services to all undocumented workers in the United States.Culture is a set of learned attitudes, and behaviors, which consist of a way of life. Although we share our organization's culture with our co-workers, it's unlikely that we share our personal culture with all our co-workers. We'll find many ways that life is symbolized in the workplace. Depending on our experience with and contact to different cultures, our comfort zone with different groups can increase or contract.
