The reason of the success is due to the founder policy that required decreasing the prices of products to lower than his competitors. The person who came up with famous name was the founder's assistant Bob Bogle and in the year of 1967, the company have expanded to open 24 branches in Arkansas. Additionally, the sales profit reached 12.6 million dollars and as a result, the company even expanded to open stores all over the United States by the year of 1968. In the year of 1975, the company have reached to Arkansas , Kansas , Louisiana , Missouri Oklahoma, Texas, Kentucky and Mississippi to open around 7500 stores and reach a total sales of 340.3 million dollars. Moreover, in the year of 2007, the company have changed their slogan from" low prices always , always . " to slogan " Save Money Live better , ", the way that Wal-mart has been running have resulted in saving an amount of 2500 dollars per year for many American families which was according to a study that has been conducted in 2006. Regarding the Wal-mart famous logo, it has been designed in the year of 2008. By the year of 2011, it has been estimated that the company holds around 51 percent of Massmart holdings and that made the company able to reach African Countries such as Namibia , Nigeria, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa , Botswana , Ghana , Lesotho Malawi, Mauritius , Mozambique, and Zambia.
