Little did Americans know, this would be a series of events that would forever change the history of our country. Six years later, the events that took place on September 11th, 2001 still haunts our nation as a whole. Not only are the victims and their families still suffering, but we, the people of the United States of America are suffering too. We have yet to fully recover from the tragedies of September 11th, 2001. Unfortunately, the events that took place on September 11th, 2001, have become one of the most debatable controversies in the world. The American government has investigated the September 11th events. With the evidence and testimonies collected, they have written and released, 'The 9/11 Commission Report' to the public. Conspiracy theorists have reviewed this report and have come to their own conclusion that the report is inaccurate and misleading to the American public… in other words, they feel like The 9/11 report is one big lie. The terrorist attacks that took place on September 11th, 2001 would soon become the biggest conspiracy theory ever known.Is 9/11 a Conspiracy?IntroductionThe FactsOn the morning of September 11th, 2001, nineteen terrorists out smarted our national security systems and took our country for the ride of its life. Four commercial airliners were hijacked; American Airline's Flight 11 and Flight 77, along with United Airline's Flight 93 and Flight 175. (9/11 Commission Report, 2004)American Airline's Flight 11American Airline's Flight 11 (a Boeing 767-223ER), located at Logan International Airport was destined for the Los Angeles International Airport. The flight was scheduled to depart at 7:45 a.m. EDT, but for some reason this flight was running behind schedule. AA Flight 11 did not take off until 14 minutes later at 7:59 a.m. (September 11, 2001 attacks, Wikipedia, September 15, 2007).The 9/11 Commission estimates that AA Flight 11 was hijacked at approximately 8:14 a.m. AA Flight 11 had 11 crew members on board as well as 81 passengers; including the 5 hijackers. The hijackers aboard AA Flight 11 are as follows: Mohamed Atta al Sayed (Egyptian), who was the leader of the hijacking as well as the pilot, was seated in seat number 9D; Waleed al-Shehri (Saudi Arabian), sat in seat 2B; Wail al-Shehri (Saudi Arabian), sat next to Waleed, in seat 2A; Abdulaziz al-Omari (Saudi Arabian), sat in seat 9G and Satam al-Suqami (Saudi Arabian), sat in seat 10B.
