No, junk food should not be banned from schools. Junk food can raise money, and even help children with their decision making.
Junk food in vending machines is a good way for school to raise money. Lots of kids gets junk foods from a vending machine, and the food and drinks usually cost about $0.50-$2.00 which can help raise money for new furniture, school supplies, or even a class trip. Since kids crave junk food, you would get about 10-40 customers everyday (about 20.00 dollars a day) and that would help to raise about $200 in about 2 weeks. That money can be split in three equal amounts so each amount of money would go to each cause, new furniture, school supplies, or a class trip. With this money, you can buy new furniture like desks, tables, paint, or even just a new window. You also can buy new school supplies for the kids who cannot afford pencils, rulers, glue, or even a backpack which would make life easier for the parents and the kids!
