The best thing to drink with any meal is water. One should limit his dairy intake to one to two servings a day. A glass of milk for breakfast would be ideal.
Eating small healthy snacks throughout the day is a good way from keeping oneself from eating too much at meal time. The best kind of snack would be something healthy. A good choice would be something like fruits, vegetables, a handful of almonds, or maybe a glass of juice. Things like cookies and other sweets should be limited to once a week or for special occasions.
Another way to eat healthier is to cut back on salt intake. Some people don’t realize how much salt they accidentally take in. A lot of salt is in things like canned foods, frozen dinners, and fast food. One easy way to reduce salt intake is to eat fresh or frozen vegetables instead of canned. Chips and pretzels contain a lot of salt as well. Going for a few carrot sticks for a snack instead of a bag of chips or pretzels is another way to cut back on salt.
One important part of living healthy is exercise. A person doesn’t have to exercise for hours on end to be healthy. Around thirty minutes a day is enough to make the difference. It also gives a boost of epinephrine. These things combined helps a person’s body to work more efficiently. Therefore not requiring as much energy to complete its tasks.
