"There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so” – William Shakespeare
Do you think mistakes are always bad? And it means you’re a failure? Mistakes aren’t always bad as we may think, they enlighten us and make us be stronger in the future to do better things in our lives. I always thought that by doing something bad, it will make us regret our lives and our past; that it will make us be ashamed of ourselves but I have realized that I shouldn’t think that way. Mistakes are like levels in a game, you may be able to pass them without getting harmed and they will teach you something new especially when you overcome the boss level called disappear, you feel relieved and joyous, so next time it comes again, you will know how to overcome it.
When I started to grow older I began to lie to my parents. When we usually just turn teenagers, our mind starts changing, and we most likely take different paths than where we were. I started to lie more and more until my parents would find out everything I lied about; I got mostly everything taken away for a long time and I truly thought I wasn’t doing anything wrong. I began to steal from my parents by over using their credits card just to buy videogames, clothes and everything I saw my friends had online. That eventually led to my parents obtaining a bad credit score and financial debt. Until one day, I saw the effects of what I have done to myself and the people around me. I slowly realized that there was have less and less food in the household. To the point, the fridge was empty for over a month and all I could’ve survived off was the food given from school. My parents began to work over timeafter that taught me to be truthful and honest to both of my parents so I won’t be able to suffer and have nothing in my life. Sometimes we don’t realize we’re doing something bad until we get hurt and that’s usually how we learn.
I believe that if you make a mistake, look at the positive aspects of the mistake...
