“Different strokes for different folks” Everyone has their own way of approaching life. As early as Ancient Greece, Plato, Aristotle and Hippocrates recorded theories on personality (Ellis, 2009). Some educators are seeing students benefiting by incorporating Learning Style and Multiple Intelligence theories in the classroom. By applying various learning styles and Multiple Intelligence theories in education, students are more likely to be motivated to learn at a deeper level.

It is reasonable to assume that he used logical, musical and kinesthetic abilities to create the stethoscope. The concept of far transfer is materials learned in the classroom are transferred into other classes and eventually transferred in life (Lang 2013). There are three types of learners: surface learning, strategic learners and deep learners. Deep learners are able to take the concept of far transfer into their lives. However, there is no way to grade far transfer or deep learner in the time allocated for class (Young 2012). As mentioned above with the scientist using their logical and musical intelligence, the ability for them to be able to use various intelligences to problem solve is based their ability to have acquired the knowledge. At one point they were educated in music along and also learned science. The Arts Education Partnership reviewed studies supporting benefits of musical programs in schools. Studies provided evidence that it advances math achievements and increases language arts and reading skills.
