For many years, humans and animals have equally relied on a gift from nature that is not only a miracle medicine, but also a sturdy building material and has many other uses. In the days that we currently live in, this gift has been banned and given a bad name for selfish reasons that until recently were not spoken of. Legalizing marijuana would make it too easily accessible for young people like children and college students. People would began purchasing the drug just because it is available and no longer illegal. It could become habit forming and cause people to lose sight on what is really important in life such as family and all things involved such as buying groceries and paying bills .Marijuana has been said to have many side effects, some negative and some positive. Displayed here are facts about marijuana.
Hemp as it is so often called has abrasive outer fibers and a shorter finer fiber on the inside which is often called the hurd. The seeds from the hemp plant also can be pressed to get oil. These three main components of the hemp plant can be manufactured into a variation of products that look and behave like wood, plastic, and even concrete like material. These hemp made products include but are not limited to plastic, fiberboard, wallboard, roofing tiles, insulation, paneling and bricks can even be made from the compressed inner short hemp fiber. The outer hemp fibers then can also be used like a bale of hay construction combined with mud for an old-style cob building. Homes built out of hemp are better for our environment, but can be more expensive in states where the selling of marijuana is illegal.
Marijuana is used medically in order to treat epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, ease the pain of migraines, arthritis, menstrual cramps, and post amputation. It is also known to ease the discomfort of nausea and vomiting as well as AIDS wasting. This type marijuana is called medical marijuana and it has particular diseases or conditions under which a person may receive and use it legally, the legal name for these are called allowable conditions. The herbs of Marijuana has been known to increase and restore metabolism, relieve muscle spasms, aid in the relief of depression by elevating one’s mood and expanding one’s mind. Around 2700 B.C. the Greeks and Egyptians were already using the Cannabis plant for ailments once they found that compounds in marijuana can relieve pain, combat nausea and stimulate appetite. Many people tend to believe that weed or “pot” is natural because it is from the earth, which is suppose to make it better for you than using any other type of drug. When in reality, the doctors and physicians barely even know what the complete side effects are for prescribing certain types marijuana to their patients.
