Life Goals Essay

1252 words - 5 pages

How much can you accomplish until the age of 17? If it were 2012 today, then I would agree to God that life was an amazing experience. Like many other boys, I love to swim, play basketball, crack jokes, rap, play tag, hide n seek, watch TV, play games on the computer, get tired and fall asleep. However, when I was growing up as a kid, I learned very quickly in my life that life has a duty for each individual. What was my role? I did not know what it was until the age of 14. In order to enjoy life to its maximum, I rather excel myself and live for others. Now, I would not say, I am not living for myself. I realize living for others could be life worthwhile. For example, I have knowledge my mom as a single parent; struggle to resolve her debts, and problems (catholic school tuition, mortgage, family stability, and my grandmother suffering with heart disease and dementia). Then I said to myself, wouldn’t it be it be worthwhile, if I can be the one to help pay off her bills, bring the family together, and finally bring some sort of happiness in her life. Yes, I would agree that it would be worthwhile living for others, and not just for my mom, but also for every else who is in need and myself. In return, I would be happy inside. It is a “win, win” situation. This mindset was the catalyst to my desire, goals, and achievements. I now wanted to become an innovator, engineer, and help people with my abilities. I want to create a foundation of wealth that would help as many people as I can. I have already started on my goals, and everything seems to be working well. As of today, I am a successful entrepreneur, online business owner (plrebookclub.com, marketer, copywriter, author, avid reader, movie buff, outdoorsman, caring and understanding son. I have not even realized how much I have accomplished, until “OTHERS” have brought a sudden realization on to me.
Some of my major accomplishments were becoming an online business owner of three sites and a versatile online marketer. The success of these accomplishments developed from my will to change. I was able to have a large amount of continual passive income every month “to put on the table” and the potential of the Internet to do just that. After over a year of trials and errors trying to establish an online presence, I finally got the break I have been looking for. In 2007 - 2008 I officially became a blogger, and became an affiliate marketer with ClickBank.com (Similar to Paypal.com), where I gained much needed online experience in building membership sites and online marketing. During sophomore and junior year, I self-studied many programming languages and marketing strategies, such as HTML, CSS, JAVA,JQUERY, AJAX, JAVASCRIPT, MYSQL Databases, PHP, web design, affiliate marketing, email marketing, pay per click (PPC), search engine optimization (SEO), banner advertising, copywriting, joint venture marketing (JV), outsourcing, project management and many more… Apart from all my high school...
