Team Member: M-Core will reach an agreement by integrating negotiating tactics that will incorporate conflict resolution and effective communication mediums that will foster trust with the "hold out" residents' and community stakeholders by accomplishing M-Cores vision of developing a facility that will bring the next generation of multi-core processing chips.
Team Member: M-Core will create a state-of-the-art research campus for the development of a multi-core chip by securing public support and purchasing surrounding properties.
Team Member: M-Core will become a world-recognized innovator of the multi-core processing chips by obtaining a state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly, research and development campus located on 90 acres of picturesque tranquility. The facility attracts the brightest high tech talent around the world creating a prosperous economy in a small town that needed a financial boost.
Team Member: M-Core will purchase the remaining 4-acre historical properties and not harm the wetland by preserving New Oxford's culture. M-Core was successfully able to accomplish its vision by developing the first supercomputer.

Generic Benchmarking-The purpose of generic benchmarking is to identify potential solutions to the problem statements defined in Task A. You will do this by looking at how companies in other industries have dealt with similar issues.

Task B1: Generic Benchmarking: Topics

Team Member: In order for M-core to accomplish successfully its objectives of obtaining the land to develop a state-of-the-art facility for the new technology M-Core would like to introduce, the executive leadership needs to access their negotiation strategies quickly. Additionally the leaders of the organization need to look at the conflict resolution structure and communication mediums used in order to resolve the issues that M-Core are currently facing. This will assist Mark Marchant, M-Core's Corporate Counsel at the forefront of the negotiations to accomplish expeditiously the main objective, which is motivating the final residents to sell their properties in order to proceed forward with land development plans.
