In the year of 1348 the black death (a.k.a Plague) arrived in England. Everyone dying left and right it was a major disaster. people in the middle ages were confused and scared or what was going on and curious to why this is happening. Nearly half of the population was dead cause by the black death. However after this world wide catastrophe along came the Renaissance. In my opinion the Renaissance is a pick up from what had happen early ( Black Death). Now the Renaissance, they didn't really follow the rules of the Middles ages rules. I mean they were at different time, but they were completely different. People in the Renaissance people believed that they were independent, they prayed and were christians its just that they weren’t as strict. They would sell indulgences from money. These were for the people for who they thought wasn’t going to either heaven or hell. As I stated before the Renaissance had inventions creativity. For example during the Renaissance this one man built a dome for this church. However the way that this guy built the dome was so amazing because what he did was never done during his time. He invented a machine that allowed the builders to lift heavy things with the power of animals and they could go the same way if they carrying up or bringing down things. Also he basically invented something that the modern builders use bet you will never guess? Brunelleschi invented the………blueprints. Yeah that’s where the blueprints come from he was the first person to put a builders idea on paper to actually see the idea in 3d sort of.
Middle Ages and The Renaissance contributed to the Art Architecture. For example in the Middle Ages they would build buildings and churches. They weren’t small either they were extremely big. This amazing because the time of their technology wasn’t advanced,so that was a big accomplishment. They also added the art of dressing in the Art Architecture. In the Renaissance brought basically the same things;however, they were advanced because of the time difference. The buildings were still big,but they had a unique style to them. As we all do the famous painting came from the Renaissance “Mona Lisa”. Furthermore people from the Renaissance brought new style of dress that had them with what we called today class style. Finally both the Renaissance and the Middle Ages contributed to the Art Architecture.
In conclusion, after the major incident The Black Plague. Both the Middle Ages and The Renaissance had a extremely great come back. Even though they were at different times they had a couple of things in common and many things different. This essay provide the comparing and contrasting the role of God and Man between the Middle Ages and Renaissance.
