Miraculous Islamic Facts Proving Scientific Theories

1136 words - 5 pages

With an increase of Muslim population at 1.84% each year, Islam is now becoming the second most spread religion after Christianity. In 2013, Muslim around the world became approximately 2.04 billion, including birth rate and conversions rate. Muhammad Ali, Shaquille O’Neal, Jermaine Jackson, Franck Ribery, Akon, Queen Noor, Idris Tawfiq who was a catholic priest, and many others, all coming from different countries, backgrounds, religions, and cultures. Yet, they all decided to convert to Islam. Obviously, this huge tendency towards Islam didn’t come randomly and out of nowhere. Everything has a reason, and one of the reasons why more people are converting to Islam is its relation with science, and the extraordinary unbelievable scientific miracles in the Holy Qur’an. I have never read something as mind-blowing as this is, and I really hope it can do the same to the rest of the world too.
Back in time when there were no planets, stars, galaxies, people, and not even atoms, the universe was nothing but a formless brilliant fireball of light and matter. According to the big bang theory, the universe matter 13.82 billion years ago was contained in one single point, and it kept expanding until nowadays. Dr. Mark Whittle, a professor of Astronomy in the University of Virginia, has proved in his research that when the universe was in its infancy at the stage of gas and dust and high temperature, it emerged sound waves. What helped the spread of these waves is the dense gas that filled the universe, and that worked as a suitable space to spread the voices. This discovery is a result of the study of the Microwave Background in the early stages of the universe after the Big Bang. The study also was able to describe the characteristics of these voices; which were said to be quiet and subtle. That is exactly what was stated in the Holy Qur’an many centuries ago in one of the chapters “Then He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the earth, "Come [into being], willingly or by compulsion." They said, "We have come willingly."”

The curve above demonstrates the sound frequencies launched by the universe in its early stages. The horizontal axis represents the frequency of sound waves, while the vertical one represents the level of sound. And as we can see through this, there is an absence of any sharp curvatures; which is a proof of the quiescence of the sounds created.
Moreover, right after the verse from Surah Fussilat of the Qur’an, comes the verse “And He completed them as seven heavens within two days and inspired in each heaven its command. And We adorned the nearest heaven with lamps and as protection. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.” (Fussliat: 12) This leads us to the next stage after the gas one, which is the creation of stars. The reason why they were referred to lamps instead of simply stars or galaxies or anything else is the fact they actually had an important role...
