Moscow Vacation

What is the most famous city in the world? Some may ask themselves this question and according to many, the answer would be Moscow, Russia. Moscow would be an awesome travel destination because it has a seemingly infinite number of attractions for almost any kind of person. The city of Moscow is full of life!

Moscow has been around for a very long time. Moscow was first founded around about the middle of the 12th century. Moscow hasn't always been the capital of Russia either. This system was over thrown however towards the end of the Russian revolution.

The royal city of Moscow has the honor of serving as the capital of the largest country in the world (almost twice the size of Canada). Moscow was also originally built in the shape of a weal with outer rings of giant walls. As the city expanded the old walls would not be able to contain the whole city and a new bigger one would be built. There were also many roads from the outer rings to the center giving the city a weal shape.

Moscow has pretty mild climate. It is hottest around July and august and coldest around December and January. In the summer, the average temperature around 30-35� C

and in winter it can be as cold as -30� C. Russia is large and climate does very a lot but it has mostly long, cold winters and short, mind summers.

There are many things you will want to see when visiting Moscow. One place you will want to visit for sure would be the St. Basil's Cathedral. The towers of St. Basil's Cathedral are featured in many pictures of Moscow and are very elaborate, colorful, and beautiful. You would also want to take a tour of the State Tretyakov Gallery. It is Russia's national museum. There are many more attractions also that are both beautiful and fascinating.

A Moscow vacation would be a trip to remember for a lifetime. Almost everyone could find something to do in the huge and wondrous atmosphere of Moscow, Russia!
