But in case, you aren’t able to avoid or stop the motion, you just have to settle in an area with the least motion. Eating a a dry soda, sipping on a clear, carbonated drink like ginger ale, and getting some fresh air maybe considered as motion sickness treatment since it help lessen your motion sickness.
Another motion sickness treatment would be medication. These would be taking prescription and nonprescription medicine after meals and thirty minutes before exposure to the activity that can cause motion sickness. These medications would prevent or reduce symptoms of nausea and vomiting. Some medicines are sedatives that minimizes the effect of motion.This kind of motion sickness treatment may cause drowsiness and may even impair one’s judgment.
Taking powdered ginger, wearing acupressure bracelets and even raw ginger between teeth are an altenative (stimulation) ways of motion sickness treatment. Though there is a little evidence that these alternative ways of motion sickness treatment work.
It is not known why some people sufers from motion sickness while others do not.
