Self-Efficacy Theory is important to motivate students who do like study. The belief of Self-efficacy determines the students’ feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and motivations. Self-efficacy determines students’ abilities in their learning, while positive self-efficacy makes students think they have the abilities to complete learning tasks; this holds a positive and progressive learning attitude. However, when the students' self-efficacies are low and they don't think they can finish learning tasks, they will have negative thoughts, and learning enthusiasm will be discounted. Family, peers and education have important influences on students' self-efficacies. Parents should encourage them and help them when they have in trouble.
Motivating students and their interests is also important, since their interest is the power of learning. Only interesting things around students will activate them to pursue, explore and become more active in their environment. When students ask ...view middle of the document...
A man without goals lacks aggression, initiative and self-consciousness in learning. Even though these students may get good grades, they do not have strong feelings of success.
Learning goal orientation for the promotion of learning motivation has some differences in academic performance. Firstly, students who want to obtain knowledge have the ability to learn and care about how much knowledge they learned and what abilities they obtained. When they are met with difficulties, they will continue to try to solve problems. In the process, their learning motivations are improved. This hard-won success makes make them have a more strong pleasant experience. Secondly, students who want to obtain compliments and a good reputation are more likely to choose learning situations, which can avoid challenges in order to avoid failure or lower grades, especially those who have lower abilities of attribution; when they are in trouble or confront with failures, their learning motivation will become more negative. Therefore, clear and appropriate learning goals orientation help to stimulate the individual learning motivation and achieve strong success experience.
Through a variety of effective ways and methods to change students' incorrect learning attitude the cognition of students in learning can be improved, cultivated and stimulated, as well as their enthusiasm. It can, through various forms of interpretation, education and lectures, promote the scientific learning method and the importance and necessity of learning in life. Through the establishment of learning goals, good learning motivation skills, and a positive attitude on learning, they can form the habit of self-conscious learning. To satisfy the high-level needs of the students, the most distinct characteristic of the students who do not want to study is lost confidence. We should properly reduce the learning requirements and establish situations to let the students succeed and help them to experience the joy of success, while satisfying their needs of respect. Confidence can make students have positive and active learning motivation and can help them to overcome self-abased and correct weariness of learning.
