My Art Experience Throughout This Year

Life isn’t always fair and every single one of us had surely been through some sort of problem or burden that he or she had suffered from because that’s what life is all about; not all your days are your best, but at the same time not all of them are your worst.
God had created us all equal and He intentionally puts us through hard times and in hard situations to test our faith and to make us stronger to face what’s even harder and more challenging. And the major factor that all human beings depend on to overcome all of these obstacles and survive in this harsh cruel world is inner strength. God wants the best for all of his people and therefore he had put inside each and every human being he had created a fair amount of strength enough to fight the problems that a person faces in life.
Throughout the summer of 2013 I have been through a little problem which some might consider insignificant, but it really did change me as a person. Meanwhile, I was reading a book (Life of Pi) which helped me overcome this obstacle. The book talks about a 16-year-old Indian kid who got lost in the Pacific Ocean after he’d been through a fierce storm and a shipwreck that killed his mother, father and older brother. He was left in the middle of nowhere in a small boat with one companion which was a tiger, a huge, scary one with yellow eyes filled with hunger and fury. The book clearly showed how extraordinarily strong and brave the kid was. Despite the death of his family and the fact that he was accompanied by a tiger that could devour him at any second, he survived.
The book inspired me to paint about inner strength and so I did. My first painting was in water colours. At the beginning I faced many difficulties painting and I found it quite hard to paint the small details and I actually screwed up...
