“Registered nursing is among the top 10 occupations with the largest job growth’’ according to The Bureau of Statistics but why? Registered nursing is all over the world. In every hospital you will find many registered nurses because it is a good career to get into. A job industry that will never run out of jobs is the heath industry because everyone in the world needs health care treatment. Students should look into healthcare careers id they want a successful life and career. Registered nursing need dedication although it does not take such a long time to complete this career it has its rewards in its outcomes.

In order to even consider this career student need to have certain calcifications for this career. If you are pursuing a career in nursing there are few prerequisites that are needed to even qualify for this job. For instance you must have graduated from a high school or obtained a GED if you did not finish high school. If a high school students has advanced placement classes in sciences it is a bonus for them because students will have experience in how these classes will be and the potential that is needed in order to pass this classes of nursing. Another qualification to be a registered nurse is either to go to school and get a diploma for nursing, go to a community college and obtain an associate’s degree that can take up to two years to complete or go straight inn to a cal state university or a university of California which can take four ears and you will earn your bachelors degree when finished with those four years.
There are three main paths in order to become a nurse. The most efficient way to become a nurse is to obtain an associate nursing degree. To obtain an associate nursing degree can be easy in the following ways online or traditional campus-based colleges and universities. There are programs at universities that help you earn the credits for an RN. These programs are often known as RN to BSN programs. But that isn’t the only way as mentioned the online education programs offer flexible schedules for convenient for working nurses. But the BSN also known as the bachelor’s degree in nursing is recommended for a professional degree for becoming a registered nurse. Most BSN degrees will require completed courses in the following Biology, Microbiology, Nutrition, Sociology, Human anatomy, Chemistry, Statistics, Clinical rotations, Nursing care of children, Nursing care of the elderly, and Mental health nursing. If you are a BSN graduate you may go on to have a successful career in these fields Emergency room dare, Home healthcare, Mental health care, Critical care, Oncology, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Pulmonary care, and obstetrics according to the Guide to College Majors in Nursing by Richard Brinsley Sheridan.
