Obesity or overweight means having excess body fat .For adults 35 and older ,having a BMI higher than 30 is considered obese ,it is a chronic disease that can leads to many dangerous diseases like diabetes ,high blood pressure ,heart attacks and other diseases that can cause death in any time ,obesity is having weight greater than healthy ,you can't enjoy anything with it ,you can't play the sports you love ,you won't be in the shape ,everybody will see you in a pathetic way ,we all have to fight obesity and overweight to be healthy ,and in fighting obesity and overweight we are fighting many other diseases ,we will discuss more about it in the coming paragraphs .
Obesity is caused by many factors ,first of all genetics ,genetics has a big role in obesity it also affects the hormones in fat regulation in the body , if one of the parents is obese then there is a high families also share food and other habits, a link exists between genes and the environment. Children gets their habits from their parents , child who is inactive and eats high calorie food will become overweight too ,and if the family eats healthy food and do some physical activities will reduce the chance of getting their child overweight or obese.
Overeating leads to weight gain ,especially if the food high with fats and sugar for example fast food ,fried food ,and sweets ,this kind of food contains a lot of calories ,people are exposed to huge food portions at home ,restaurants ,cinema ,gas stations ,supermarkets and even in schools ,some of these meals can feed more than one person ,overtime this will cause weight gain if it's not balanced with sports and physical activities ,people should replace this kind of food with grilled meat ,chicken instead of the fried ones , and replace the chocolates ,chips and other snacks with fruits and vegetables are healthier 100% ,and they need to replace the video games with sports and physical activities .
People who are highly inactive are exposed to overweight and obesity ,now days people in all ages spends hours in front of the TV without moving except their jaw muscles to eat snacks that are hard to digest and full of sugar and fats , people who are inactive are more likely to gain weight because they don't burn the calories that they got from food and drinks. An inactive lifestyle also raises your risk for heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, colon cancer, and other health problems and even schools should reduce the amount of work on their students because they need the internet to do their assignments which can cause to overweight and obesity.
