I think this is the most excited time in my life now! I always dream about to apply the best business school which is Schulich School of Business in Canada; the reason why I say that is because I did not have enough courage and confidence to apply it before; however, now is perfect time to try my best to accomplish my second important goal after my 20 years old. The first one was trying to immigrant to Canada.
I was born and raised in north – west in China. After I graduated from high school in China, I made “crazy” decision by myself to go aboard to study at Canada since I was extremely curiosity to explore diffident culture and life style. In spite of that, all my friends against my opinion since I never left my city alone and they did not believe me that I could take care of myself. To my surprise was that my dear parents supported me without any doubts. On October 22nd 2009 that was my first time left home to go to another country where I had no friends and families; to be honest, I was a little bit more nervous than exhilarations when I arrived at Toronto Pearson Airport because I was not have many ideas how I would be living at the country which official language is not Meridian; Even though, I learned some basic English when I was at middle school and high school and I was too shy to speak out. Time and environment are great things that can help me conquer my timid. During the college time, I was sociable and I spent lots of time to participate several volunteering events; such as I interviewed receivers at Food Bank for four months, I was one of promoter in Bike Host - Culture Link for five months and I was a event assistant for Wedding Bliss Dress Sale & Bridal Show on March 2011. The last term of my program in Hospitality Management was internship; luckily, I was hired by Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Toronto as a bookkeeper right after my internship since I was helping accounting and HR department when I was a co-op student.
