Business has become indispensable in our lives. It's principles serve as the backbone for economic, political and social systems at all levels. On the other hand* management is the basic necessity and pillar of a business organization, it's the catalyst without which no organization can survive and grow. Management is the key. Hence, the indispensability of business management, in the world as we know it, prompts me to delve deeper into this prolific discipline.
My passion for business ignited in my youth whilst watching my father run his garment manufacturing company, wondering someday I will be filling his shoes and get an opportunity to manage the business on my own. My desire to study business management augmented over the years and led me to take business studies at IGCSE. The realm of my core discipline acquainted me to the world of business. Besides various significant notions, it encompassed why business is not just buying and selling? and why to view a situation from every stakeholder's perspective that reflects the objectives of the business? It was compelling and to get a profound insight, I took up business studies at A level as well. To understand the theoretical frameworks that underpin a successful enterprise and to know why there is no one perfect solution to a business problem? and why decision making is holistic? not only fascinated me but enriched my aspirations too.
I believe business is an art and to be an artistic manager I want to broaden my horizons beyond business studies. By taking mathematics at A level, I came across the subject's intricateness; in addition, my ingenuity in analyzing, reasoning and solving problems coherently. It is intriguing to know by fusing mathematics and statistics with business studies* we can deduce mathematical models that accurately mirrors the real world situations. I love playing...
