Life is a learning experience. As a child I was constantly criticized and reminded daily of my flaws, but never commented on the good things. As I grown, the negativity I received affected my personality and way of life. I realized that in order to become a better individual, I needed to recognize my strengths and weaknesses, whether it be at work, home, or school, for myself as well as make improvements where needed.
The majority of my strengths are related to my job. I am able to learn a task quickly if necessary. Deadlines are made on time. I can multi-task if required. And also, solving problems by doing research in the company's database comes naturally to me. Without being able to do any of this, I would not have the job I have now.
Organization is the key to running my home smoothly, without it there would be chaos. I have a routine down so that nothing is forgotten. There is a place for everything in my home. I make sure my home stays tidy and that my children are taken care of. I put my children needs before my own.
Returning to school has been an absolute challenge. Having a full-time job and being a full-time mother to two young girls has brought stress onto my school life. And to think that was enough, I found out that I was going to be part of a learning team. I did not recognize the strength I had until I began this class. Although many of the team members have not participated in the assignments, I have managed to get the assignments on time along with my individual assignments and keep up with the reading. I refuse to fail. I am determined to be a success.
In order to become a success, I have to put a great deal of effort into recognizing and overcoming my weaknesses. To my understanding, patience for the most part is my greatest weakness. Coworkers, my children, and learning teams...
