My presentation topic today is: why you should travel Nepal?

Wedged between the high wall of the Himalaya and the steamy jungles of the Indian plains, a small land-locked country Nepal is a land of snow peaks and Sherpas, yaks and yetis, monasteries and mantras, situated between India ...view middle of the document...

No conclusive evidence has been documented as to whether the yeti actually exist or not, but several explorers claim to have seen yeti footprints.

Country of numerous world records

Nepal is not only country of Mount Everest, ironically it is the country of the world's shortest man, Chanda Bahadur Dangi. Before him, Khagendra Thapa, also a nepali, was the world's shortest man.

Tilicho lake- the highest lake on the earth at the height of 4800 meters, Shey Phoksundo Lake- the deepest lake of 145 meters at the height of 3600 meters, gorge and the highest valley on Earth- the Arun valley, are in Nepal.

Nepal also known for Gurkhas. Gurkhas are well known for their leadership, bravery, courage and no-fear nature that they showed in the World Wars. World Famous footballer Maradona once quoted that they would not have won against England, in 1986 world cup, if there were Gurkhas in the football stadium.

World heritage

Nepal has the densest concentration with regards to World Heritage sites. Kathmandu Valley holds seven World Heritage Cultural sites at around a radius of 15 kilometers.
