Should Families be limited on how much they are?
Population control is a very dangerous and serious case. Population control is controlling parents to not have a lot of children for the problem of population. This is important because it helps the country the country to decrease its population. Population control is actually a great crises that a lot of countries now a days have and try to solve it. When China had this policy and became official, all the countries in the world faced the fear of population explosion in the 20th century, the other countries didn’t have a law or a policy made, they made sure that there was enough resources and jobs for everyone in the country.
There are a lot of countries worldwide that have this problem and even started a policy about it. In China they started a policy called the “One Child Policy”. This policy was established by a Chinese leader named Deng Xiaoping in 1979, its goal was to limit China's population growth. When it was created the government said that this policy is only temporary, of course the government lied to the people and the policy is still used today. There are some locations in China that do not need to follow the law, these places are for example rural areas and minorities livings in China. The policy was actually a success, according to, the rule has been estimated to have reduced population growth in the country of 1.3 billion by as much as 300 million people over its first twenty years in china. The consequence of the people who break the policy was either the take away their child brutally and even sometimes kill the child, put the child in a foster care or an orphanage outside the country. A lot of countries have started to think of having this policy in their country, for example India. India is the second highest population in the world after China, its population is 17% of the world.
This policy have made a great change in China; there is now enough resources for the whole country, better houses & buildings, less traffic and drivers on the road, less poor people and poverty, and minimal politics and state control.
