Pro-Life V. Pro-Choice
Should humans maintain the right to terminate or end a defenseless unborn child’s life? Abortion, the removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus in order to terminate pregnancy ranks as the greatest arguments in society today. Someone described as “pro-life” means they disapprove of abortion. These people believe in the right to life. Imagine what the innocent children that died could have been today. Possibly, there might have resulted a cure to cancer or other serious diseases inside one of these children’s minds. Often minors or women whom appear oblivious to the meaning of life choose abortion. After they proceed with abortion they have lifelong regrets afterwards. With time, women experience severe psychological pain and stress.
In 1973 abortion became legalized. More than fifty-four million unborn children have died since then, which turns out to one baby killed every twenty seconds. Some agree that since American’s disapprove of abortion, it should not come from their tax dollars. Nearly one in every four pregnancies will result in abortion. American’s argue a difference between killing an unborn child and killing a toddler exists. Both defenseless human beings lives are ended.
Adoption can replace abortion. One in a half million families long for a child through adoption. Abortion is the easy way out. Women go in for a procedure and leave. These women carry around the regret of killing a human being which you can never forget or forgive yourself for. Abortions are not nearly as thought out as they should. More education about what really goes on during the abortion process should exist.
