Assessing Race, Ethnicity and Gender in Health, New York: Springer, 2006, e-book. Web. 11 March.2014.
The main objective of this book was to evaluate how the diagnosis and quality of health care afforded to individuals are determined by gender, race and ethnicity. This hypothesis was examined through angles, such as the role race and ethnicity plays in the diagnosis of AIDS. Loue's book provides an insightful view into the health care disparity which exists between people of certain, races and ethnicities that works in tandem with the other sources of information obtained for this research paper. This source can be considered to be a reliable one since it was obtained from the U.W.I Alma Jordan library’s online database and was written by a very credible author, who holds several degrees. This source was very useful as it pertains almost directly to our research question. It contains some groundbreaking information which has changed the way we think about the concept of race and ethnicity as it applies to health.
