Tarea 1Competitividad InternacionalINTRODUCCIÓN¿Define competitividad internacional?Antes de entender el significado de la competitividad internacional, es necesario definir la competitividad de manera general, dicho concepto es definido como la capacidad que tiene una empresa o país de obtener rentabilidad en el mercado en relación a sus competidores. La competitividad depende de la relación entre el valor y la cantidad del producto ofrecido y los insumos necesarios para obtenerlo (productividad), y la productividad de los otros oferentes del mercado. El concepto de competitividad se puede aplicar tanto a una empresa como a un país.La definición de competitividad internacional hace referencia análogamente al concepto de competitividad aplicado a una empresa, la competitividad de un país se refiere a su capacidad de vender productos o servicios en el mercado internacional, en relación a los otros competidores en el mercado.La competitividad global de una nación, está medida por el Índice de Competitividad Global, es cuál es publicado cada año por el Foro Internacional Mundial en Davos Suizas, el cuál evalúa diversos factores tales como la salud, educación, política, economía, etc.; otros índices son el Índice Doing Business elaborado por la Corporación Financiera Internacional (IFC) y el Banco Mundial, el Anuario de Competitividad Mundial del International Institute for Management Development (IMD) y el Índice de Competitividad Internacional construido por el Instituto Mexicano para la Competitividad (IMCO).El Foro Económico Mundial define la competitividad internacional como el conjunto de instituciones, políticas y factores que determinan el nivel de productividad de un país. El Informe Anual de Competitividad Global, analiza las 144 principales economías con base en 12 pilares.Un país competitivo venderá bienes y servicios a nivel internacional y aumentará progresivamente la renta real de sus habitantes. Para ello es necesario aumentar la productividad, es decir, obtener una producción mayor con la misma cantidad de trabajo y mejorar la relación calidad/ precio de los productos. También será necesario vender esa producción en el exterior mediante un marketing internacional adecuado.Se analizan ocho criterios según los cuales se determina la competitividad de los países.1. Potencial económico nacional. Se considera que existe una relación directa entre la competencia del mercado interno y la competitividad de las empresas en el contexto internacional..
