Cele doua companii intentioneaza sa-si concentreze in primul rând eforturile lor de cooperare in China si apoi sa-si extinda activitatea pentru a include Asia-Pacific si restul lumii.Alianta consolideaza o relatie de lunga durata intre cele doua companii si reprezinta o piatra de hotar in planurile Red Flag de a-si extinde activitatea in afara tarii. HP are o relatie de lunga durata cu Red Flag care se intinde de la primele zile ale dezvoltatorului Linux.
