In this fast paste world that we live in where fast foods are in abundant and are certainly not beneficial to an individual’s health, RNs can share with their family how important a good and healthy diet is. Good hygiene is a significant part of staying healthy. An RN knows where and how germs grow. There are so many places that a person can come in contact with contagious and harmful germs. “There are many tasks that hospital nurses perform: providing bedside care for hospital in-patients, monitoring all aspects of patient care, administering treatment and giving medications to patients under the direction of physicians, observing the patient, assessing and recording symptoms, and noting reactions and progress.”(REGISTERED NURSES). RNs are required to have the following skills: speaking, social perceptiveness, oral comprehension, reading comprehension, judgment and decision making, medicine and dentistry, biology, chemistry, critical thinking, and problem sensitivity.
