Looking back and over on what I have done, I do think I would have had some few more shots, for I only have four frames and I manage to convey a message with just four frames, and if any one was to watch my film they wouldn’t be confuse, for I made sure every shots has meaning. I think I have done so well,
I changed my idea, I had an original idea it was too over the top to actually produce, and my project turns out completely different to my original idea.
Framing, my characters fit in the frame, the table in the middle draws attention straight down to the actors, as well as the phone and papers gives roots to the story I like how the visual looked, I had some really nice shots, I wanted a class room visual, as I was editing I had to color grade to give that “mood” sad feeling, as the sound has a sad emotional feeling to it, the sound appeal to the feeling I want to get across, the sound works well with the character you can feel the emotions and the sound brings the story to life, I had fantastic actors who did so well I couldn’t ask for a better cast, the lead character Joe plays the sad student, Fred played Joe’s friend and Geron plays Joes tutor. The unit leader helped a lot with preparation as well as guiding us on how to go about our shooting ,they taught us how to set up the camera and how to frame an image using the camera, before shooting we had a one on one tutorial in preparation to our shoot , also how to use sounds as well as the safety precaution in handling the camera, we all had deadline, our unit leader encouraged us to have fun with it,...
