The company is the largest multi-category supplier of beverage alcohol in the United States; a leading producer and exporter of wine from Australia and New Zealand; and both a major producer and independent drinks wholesaler in the United Kingdom (Constellation Brands, 2005).1.3 ScopeAlthough there are many ways to measure performance of a firm, this report will mainly focus on the return-on-equity model to measure the profitability, which involves return-on equity, leverage multiplier, asset utilization, net margin, and interest margin ratios.Furthermore, to keep updated, the information used is only from year 2003 and 2004.1.4 MethodologyTypes of data that were collected to construct this report include textbook, hardcopy, and some information from the internet.1.5 AssumptionThis report assumed that all data that have been collected were true at the time of this report being written or at the time when the sources of data being written.1.6 PlanThis report initially shows the return-on equity model in a form of diagram, then it analyses profitability of ANZ from year to year, continued with profitability analysis of Coca-Cola Amatil from year to year and comparison with Constellation Brand, followed by comparison between ANZ and Coca-Cola Amatil to recognize key factors that cause profitability to be different.
