Romantic True Love Essay

The definition of true love is such strong love that someone will do anything to be with the person they love. In Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, true love is shown between Romeo and Juliet. In the book, there are two families who have had a long lasting feud which are the Capulets and Montagues. Romeo and Juliet are in these separate families on different sides. Romeo has a father but the town Friar is more of a father to him than his own father. Romeo meets Juliet and immediately loves her and so does she. Romeo kills someone and gets banished from their town. At the end of the book Romeo and Juliet both die for love. Romantic true love can take mental, physical, and emotional forms.

After having just one small conversation with Romeo, she already thinks she is in love. Her mind is now just set on Romeo due to her life being so impacted in such short time. The mental form of love, or love at first sight, took to Romeo and Juliet which lead to them being physically loving as well.
Second of all, romantic true love can take a physical form like between Romeo and Juliet kissing throughout the book. Romeo and Juliet show their first form of physical romantic love when they kiss and Romeo says "thus from my lips, by thine, my sin is purged" (1.5.118). This happened when Romeo and Juliet first met inside of a Capulet party. Being a Monatgue, if Romeo got...
