In today’s inactive society many people struggle with obesity. No one can put a price tag on life. People today need to reevaluate where their priorities stand. The downward spiral for health issues and obesity will continues to get worse, unless everyone takes action to their lives! Opportunities in today’s society show endless ways to get back into shape. Starting the activity of running will change one’s life for the better. The positive benefits of participating in running include experiencing a fun activity, many health benefits, a low cost sport, and sponsoring charity organizations.

People discover that an active lifestyle creates a love of life (Delorez and Hanc 16). In every community people can find a running club. “Many people run because they like to socialize and be part of a running community” (Luff, "Benefits of Running"). A scheduled running time within the club can help create a routine structure. “Clubs tend to hold organized runs once or twice during the week, but smaller groups often splinter off to meet at other times as well” (Barrios 129). Joining a running club allows one to achieve a kinship. Runners vary in their abilities, age and experience. With a variety of athletes in a club, friendship unites the runners (Barrios 129). Association with others while running creates lasting relationships “People make best friends and meet their husbands, wives,boyfriends,girlfriends, and their entire social circles, all through running” (Delorez and Hanc 16).The right mindset can allow everyone to experience the joys of running. Through running, one can create a lasting relationship as well as provide a rich social life. The activity of running in general can bring pure joy to everyone’s life.
Life today should provide purpose. Many people today run for the remarkable health benefits of running. In a world where everyone wants to stay fit and feel their best people should realize that running will fill that goal. Participating in running will improve one’s life through the health benefits of staying active.
A healthy lifestyle can begin when achieving productive a productive immune system. To fight off the oxidants that enters the body, running will achieve that goal strengthen the immune system. Taking slow steps towards building up a strong immunity will make one healthier. The activity of running will help maintain a strong immunity to oxidation. People who run an hour a day decrease the chance of getting an upper respiratory tract infection by eighteen percent compared to someone who does not exercise at all ("Top 15 Reasons Why Running Is Good for Your Health: Human N Health"). Running contributes to getting a stronger immune system and maintaining one.
When living in a world that judges appearance many people strive for a socially acceptable outward appearance. To look younger, one can decrease the aging process through running. When running cardiovascular system improves and decreases the aging process. “Running is also beneficial for slowing down the aging process. Those who run regularly are less likely to experience bone and muscle loss as they age at the same pace as those who do not run regularly or at all” ("The Benefits Of Running - Health, Fitness, Energy"). Like regularly drinking milk, regularly running can also strengthen anyone’s bones. Continually running on a constant schedule allows the bones and muscles in the body to maintain the strength that is important in later life ("The Benefits Of Running - Health, Fitness, Energy").
