Layton listened intensively from the back seat as the police sirens slowly faded away into the background. He looked at his watch, two minutes until midnight. His fingers snapped, creating a loud echoing sound.
“Is it time?” asked the driver Smith, looking back from the rear-view mirror.
“No. Not yet. The clock is ticking and it’s a shame it cannot tick any faster. However, soon a new world will shape.” Layton paused, clearly drowning himself under his joy. “Smith let me ask you a question.”
“What is it sir?”
“Do you think our actions are justice? Can we truely win this war?”
“With all due respect sir, this is not a good time to back down and doubt yourself.”
“I supppose your are right. However you haven’t asnswered my question yet. Do you think our actions are justice?”
“Sir, I think who ever wins this war will become justice. Justice always prevails.”
With a chuckle, Layton returned his attention towards his watch. Ten seconds until midnight…. Four, three, two, one. Just as the second hand struke twelve, a loud bang resonated from behind the car. The night sky was painted red as the black Ferrari drove further and further into the horizon.

The high chancellor will make a speech at noon today to address further concerns on the situation…”
“The confirmation is complete, all is according to plan. Start preparing immediately, the wheel of revolution is already turning.” The Television flickered black as Layton closed it with a satisfying smile on his face. Smith replied yes and bowed before he left the room. Surrounded by total silent, Layton laughed madly while looking out at the sunrise.
The world waited in silence as the clock struck twelve in the afternoon. The majority of the world waited in fear and anxiety while the minority were enjoying themselves as always. People held their breaths, expecting their TV to turn on at any moment in time. With a flash, the image of the high chancellor pops into view.

“Good afternoon, ladies and...
