The topic I did my authentic assessment on was educating first time parents on labor and delivery. I believe that this topic connects to my workplace now and in the future because I am in the nursing field where no matter where you are working, it is good to be educated on labor and delivery and what is involved with it. Upon doing my research for this project, there are numerous nursing aspects involved with labor and deliver that could be used with what I am doing now days in the field or in the future.
The capabilities I used to complete this project were: was time management skills by setting aside time on certain days of the week where it was just for me to work on this project. The use of Powerpoint and microsoft word were used along with the use of different search engines.
