In the book, Paradise, Toni Morrison organized and structured her book in a complex yet desolate way. The book begins off viciously with “they shoot the white girl first” then shifts to describing a neighborhood features and background. The strategy of the book is essentially the detachment between the younger and older generation and the change to understand the past. The plot and structure are related because the story goes back and forth between time and spaces which exemplifies the older generation who inaugurate the town Haven and the new generation (which are the older generation children) who established the town Ruby to escape the past.

Toni Morrison is narrating what happens in the Paradise. She is speaking as a black woman in a world that undervalues the voice of black woman today. We come to understand the narrator because she is telling a story of which Black African American Woman had to overcome during the civil war. Paradise exposes to the readers that the people are mindful of the history and a void where prepared evil is vented.
In conclusion, Toni Morrison uses symbolism, analogies, and sentence structure to dominant history and transformation. The irony in paradise show the symbolization of a difference maintaining rigidity and exclusion. Morrison guides her reader to the volatile conjunction of race and gender but as a vision of the veils of history and what we see in the world today. She helps her readers and fans understand the problems that the female and males had to face during the civil war are the same situations we are facing today in society. She explains to her readers through varieties of figurative language to help us get a better understanding of her work as a whole. Morrison leaves her readers thinking and wondering on who was the white girl in the beginning of the story to let them figure out if she is talking about the African American race or whites.

The reason it won A Nobel Prize in Literature is because the positive, she brightened images in her book by intricate on the detail of the characters and settings. The way it was criticized by the public was in great way the title took everybody by gale because it was a drama on words.
