In the recent decade, the animal experimentation plays a very significant role for biomedical research. Those animal experimentation allows scientists to do medical research on animals to develop new drugs for saving human life and preventing human suffering from diseases, and it also helps to ensure the safety of the drugs. Since some animal’s biological systems have a remarkable similarity with humans, it is tough to find an effective replacement for animal research. Although ...view middle of the document...

Beside produce a new life-saving treatments and drugs from animal experiment, animal research helps to ensure the safety and effective of the drugs. Most of the time, scientists are having trouble to predict the risk and side effect of the new drug because the new drug is first manufacture in a laboratory. Accordingly the new drug can conceal a hazard to human, so animal testing is a necessary process because it allows scientists to estimate the safety of drugs. After the estimation, if scientists determine the drugs are safe for human, and then the drug’s examination can be apply on human volunteers. It also means human volunteers have a lower chance to die during the examination, and it can save life and improve human life.
Humans are in the mammalian class, therefore most of the mammalian have a notable likeness with the human. For example, human’s gene has an incredibly high percentage similarity with mice, and most of humans’ biological systems are close to animals’ systems. Due to the similarity between humans and some animals, it is difficult to find an alternative research to entirely replace animal experimentation. Actually, scientists have few alternates for researches besides using animals, such as cell testing, invitro testing, or computer modeling. Indeed, those are supplementary methods, and...
