Authorities are there to keep order and discipline but I don't think it is always necessary to obey authority. We should only obey authority when it is necessary, racial laws or authorities should be ignored or demolished. Certain authorities are meant to be obeyed and some are not. Disobeying racial authority or law will not make you a bad patriot, like Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King and others disobeyed authority but for a good reason. (Albert Einstein).Mrs. Rosa Parks was born on February 4th, 1913 in Tuskegee, Alabama. She was the first child of James and Leona Edwards. Rosa Louise Parks was nationally recognized as the "mother of the modern day civil rights movement" in America. Later, the family moved to Pine level, Alabama where Rosa was reared and educated in the rural school. Rosa Louise is an enormous inspiration to the African American race. (Rosa Parks)Montgomery was a very segregated city with restricted "Black areas". The black people had their own different bathrooms, drinking fountains, elevators and seating arrangements. Rosa chose to take several acts of silent protests to these rules. On December 1st 1955, Rosa Parks was arrested for not giving up her seat. Her refusal to surrender her seat to a white male passenger on a Montgomery, Alabama bus on that caused a wave of protest December 5, 1995 that echoed throughout the United States. Rosa Parks firmly stood up for what she believed in. "You must never be fearful about what you are doing when it is the right thing". Her quiet courageous act changed American it's view of black people and per directed to the course of history.
