Norsk Bea Bjørnerud 23.10.14Tyst, lille pike.Det ringer i klokkene. Hundre, kanskje tohundre, tenåringer kommer løpende ut de trange, gamle dørene på Christiania Private Ungdomsskole. De prater høylytt, diskuterer, lurer på hvilken far som har høyest stilling, eller hvem som har den dårligste hushjelpen. Noen løper sammen, andre alene, men de skal alle hjem til mor og far. Det skal jeg òg. Jeg har aldri vært typen til å prate høyt om hvordan vi har det hjemme. Kanskje fordi jeg har merket at vi har det annerledes. Uansett er jeg er av den rolige arten. Jeg tier når jeg bør, og snakker når jeg må. Jeg spiser alltid opp maten, argumenterer aldri på det de voksne sier, jeg sier tusen takk og vær så god, neier og sier herr og fru. Jeg snakker ikke uten å ha fått ordet. En kvinne skal være skikkelig, har min far sagt.Jeg åpner forsiktig hoveddøren til huset. Hushjelpen, Amalie, står klar til å henge bort kåpen min. Jeg går rolig inn i matsalen, ryggen rett, hodet hevet. Jeg smiler til foreldrene mine der de sitter ved bordet og venter på meg. Min far hilser, min mor smiler og ser forsiktig ned. Amalie kommer med maten. De eneste lydene som fyller rommet er gaffel og kniv mot tallerken, svelging, og et lite åndedrag fra far i ny og ne. Når vi er ferdige ryddes maten bort, far reiser seg, gir oss et lite nikk, og forlater rommet for å fortsette arbeidet sitt. Jeg og mor blir sittende litt. Hun puster tungt når far har gått, nesten lettet. Jeg kan se hvor tungt det er for henne å bo her med ham, å late som hun elsker ham. Men jeg sier ingenting. Skikkelige kvinner skal ikke det. Mor lurer på om det gikk fint på skolen. Jeg nikker. Hun spør om jeg har fått noen hjemmelekser. Jeg nikker forsiktig, og forteller henne at jeg gjorde de ferdig i friminuttet på skolen. Hun nikker. Så roper hun på Amalie, og ber henne følge meg til sengs.Det er lørdag. Utenfor vinduet er det barn som leker, fugler som kvitrer. Jeg blir liggende i sengen litt, prøver å utestenge barnelatter og kun lytte til fuglene. Jeg hører noen snakke høylytt, så gråt, etterfulgt av enda høyere prat, skrik. Det kommer innenfra. Aldri i mitt liv har jeg hørt så høylytte stemmer innenfor disse veggene. Jeg lister meg ut i gangen, og titter forsiktig ned mellom trappegelenderet. Så ser jeg det jeg aldri hadde ant at jeg skulle få se. Mor skriker til far, noe om å komme seg bort, hun orker ikke leve slik lenger. Far løfter armen høyt, mor krymper seg sammen, jeg skriker. Far titter forbauset opp, mor retter seg i ryggen, selv jeg er sjokkert. Han senker armen igjen. Han ber meg gå tilbake til sengen, legge...
