Sir Isaac Newton was a very intelligent mathematician and physicist who is considered one of the most influential scientist of all time. He became a very successful man making many contributions to the field of physics while battling memories of his early life and mental issues he encountered . He is well known for Newtonian mechanics, Universal gravitation, Infinitesimal calculus, Optics Binomial series, Principal Newton's method. Also for publishing a book and building the first reflecting telescope.
Isaac Newton was born into a poor farming family on Christmas day 1642 in Lincolnshire, England. He came into the world never getting a chance to meet his father for the fact that his father died three months before Isaac’s birth. At the age of three, Isaac's mother remarried and left behind the poor boy to go live with her new husband, therefore leaving only his grandmother to take care of him. Isaac continued on his whole life hating his mother and his stepfather and in his words said "Threatening my father and mother Smith to burn them and the house over them". Starting at the age of twelve, Isaac Newton attended school at The King's School in Grantham, however being removed by his mother after a few years to become a farmer caused a minor setback. His mother wanted to make a farmer out of him, yet Isaac detested farming and luckily for him the master of The King's School convinced his mother to reenter Isaac into school, and then Isaac became the top student of his class.
Evidently, after Isaac Newton's success at The King's School he most certainly deserved his acceptance to Trinity College, Cambridge to study to become a preacher. Although, because he originated from a poor family he required work to earn money to help pay for his education, therefore he became a part time servant. Unfortunately, his school temporarily closed in 1665 due to the plage, and during these two years, Newton did private studies in scientific revolution and began to develop his theories on calculus, optics and law of gravitation. These private studies aided him to create the 'method of fluxions', begin his theory of light and colour, and start the problem of planetary motion. After a year of returning to Cambridge he graduated as a fellow of Trinity and was off to greater things and making history. After finishing his education Isaac was elected for many positions in different groups and research such as Lucasian Professor of Mathematics, Chancellor of Cambridge University, Warden of the Mint, elected Foreign Associate of the Académie des sciences, and elected President of Royal Society. As Newton got older he continued to make contributions to the world of science and mathematics despite his mental breakdowns, and for his many years of hard work Queen Anne of Cambridge knighted Newton, thereafter, he is known as Sir Isaac Newton. In Addition, to all his theories and discoveries Newton predicted the world would end no earlier than 2060,...
