In today’s society, everyone uses a computer, whether if the computer is a laptop or a desktop for working purposes or for both social networking and to do other personal stuff. This is beneficial information to the world because learning more about how computers can enhance their own prior knowledge.”(K’yanna Willis Paragraph 1).Every computer has program that operate the computer and these programs are writing by software engineers to make people life easy. Software engineers develop and create program. However not everyone can become a software engineer. To become a software engineer people should to have knowledge about the software engineering and education background.
First of all, Software engineering job is the fast growing job. At this time the world technology is update every time because of this software engineers have many job opportunities. In the article “job outlook” it explain Since 2006 software engineering job is growing fast and this job growing is expected to continue until 2016. (Paragraph 15).
Of course, software engineers are often well paid. According to Drexel University,” In 2007, starting salaries for software engineers in software development ranged from $66,500 to $99,750. For network engineers, starting salaries ranged from $65,750 to $90,250.” This means computer software engineers earn fair money when compared to other jobs. (Paragraph 9). Another information, the benefits of this job are different depending on where people work. So many engineers get good benefit. “Why work at Google” says, software engineers get medical, life, and business travel accident insurance are the main benefits that software engineers get. And also Google give a good benefit for software engineer families. With all of these kinds of benefits and salary the software engineers’ life seems luxury and fulfilled. (Paragraph 1)
Assuredly, the work environment of a software engineering job is in a computer lab with many computer hardware and software tools. Roger Moncarz says software engineer’s work in office and in a computer lab. And also they work regular hour a week. However, they usually work over time. (Paragraph 14).
