It was a magic moment for me when I saw my first computer at my uncle’s house. It was a big black & white window’s 95 OS where I played my first game, Dave. The moment I touched the keys, the urge to learn this computer world got seeded inside.
As the time passed, the seed of learning got deep-rooted and hence I pursued Information Technology as a specialization for my degree. This provided me with a strong and comprehensive background especially in computers and telecommunications. The subjects like C, C++, Java and DBMS which were catered to us in the curriculum made me proficient in programming languages to such a level that I started creating my own games in C++. The ability to learn and implement new things helped me a lot in my academics. Nevertheless, my interest was not bounded to programming, even the creative aspect of mine got sprouted with the introduction of graphics to my academics. I designed various visiting cards, web templates and photos for the occasions. This designing skill also handed me an opportunity to be a head of designing team while organizing an inter-college competition. This involvement gave me a chance to make my juniors and other class members aware the importance of designing.

This experience led me to make my own secure website that catered students a facility to get the details as well as register them in the events.
Moreover, as a team we were also introduced to work on an International Project in our academic tenure. Our college and the company Ativio took this initiative to let each student involved in the project get an international exposure as well as get an opportunity to different cultures across the borders. The countries with whom we shared our requirements apart from India were USA and Botswana wherein I was a team leader of my team.
