Steve Jobs is considered by many to be one of the most inspiring people that has ever walked the earth. By others, he was known simply as a lucky man who happened to take part in a series of fortunate events. Let’s take a closer look at the life of Steve Jobs, and find out ourselves. Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco. His parents, Joanne Schieble and Abdulfattah Jandali, couldn’t afford to take care of him. They were deeply affected poverty, and still attending college. They put Steve up for adoption. Steve was later adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs. Paul and Clara Jobs got married unusually soon after they met (10 days). Throughout Steve Jobs’ life, he lived in Woodside, California. When Steve was six years old, a neighbor his age told him his real parents got rid of him because they didn’t love him. Steve was very upset by this. When he told his mother, she told him he was wonderful and special just the way he was. This made Steve think he was different than others and gave him inspiration to do something big that would change the world. Since steve was very interested in electronics, his father later introduced him to health kits. Health Kits were small electronic instruction kits that would educate you on how to make certain devices. Steve loved electronics but disliked school. Steve’s teacher saw his potential, and bribed him to get good grades by paying him money out of her own pocket.
When Steve was in his preteens, many things happened that related to his success and fate as an entrepreneur. While Steve was in 7th grade, he met an 18 year old boy named Stephen Wozniak through a mutual friend. Everyone called him “Woz” as a shortening of his last name “Wozniak”. Steve and Woz got along particularly well considering they both had a strong growing love for electronics. Steve had claimed Woz was the only single person in his life he had met that knew more about electronics than he did. Steve and Woz also absolutely loved to play pranks on their fellow classmates and authorities. Once when Steve was a teenager, him and Woz put a humongous middle finger on the side of their high school as a prank.
When Steve was adopted by Clara and Paul, they promised his birth parents they would start him a savings account for college. When Steve was 13 years old, he called Bill Hewlett (Former CEO of HP) to speak with him about getting a job. Later Bill Hewlett gave Steve a summer job at the Hewlett Packard Factory. After Middle school, Steve attended Homestead High School and later graduated. He attended a Reed College but didn’t graduate. He dropped out after a few months because he saw no point in it. He claimed he didn’t know what he wanted to do in life and college wasn’t making it any better. On top of that, his parents could barely afford his tuition. They hadn’t been able to save much in his savings account.
While at college Steve and Woz had figured out how to create small blue boxes they would sell to people in the dorms....
