For example, people believe that druids used Stonehenge to perform ceremonies for a good harvest. People also believed that Stonehenge was also used as a landing site for Extra Terrestrial visitors. Many more theories exists, for example, that it was used as a celestial calendar, a calculator, observatory, and even as King Arthurs’ tomb. Although all these theories exist, there’s one that in my opinion is the most believable, that Stonehenge was used as an Ancient Burial Ground. The reason why I find it the most believable theory of is because it is said that there have been human remains found under Stonehenge. Archeologists have found bones of rich and powerful leaders and people (Hamlin 18). If the rumors are true of the bones found under Stonehenge, Archeologists might want to rethink the idea that Stonehenge predates all known civilizations, or maybe there were civilizations hidden from the world.
The Investigation of Stonehenge has been continued for about 90 years. Each year Archeologists either have gotten a break through or proved themselves completely wrong. One Archeologist Herbert H.
