Synergy or more correctly synergize is the sixth of the seven habits described by S. Covey necessary to be effective and successful in every day life. Synergize is the apex of the pyramid, the habit that unifies all the previous habits and is the last step on the way to effective interdependence.Synergy (from Greek syn-ergo - "working together") describes a situation where the final result is greater than the sum of the initial parts, that is a situation, where one plus one is more than 2: 3, 5, 10 or even more. Synergy is an exciting experience for many, S. Covey states, but there is a long list of pre-requisites to create the right atmosphere for it to be born. "The more authentic you become, the more genuine in your expression, particularly regarding personal experiences and even self-doubts, the more people can relate to your expression and the safer it makes them feel to express themselves" . The second source of trust is living in accordance with the principles, being integrated with one's principles and inner values, exercising the first 5 habits to the fullest, which S. Covey also calls intrapersonal synergy, the synergy within ourselves.Once the conditions to create synergy are met and the right level of communication is achieved, there opens a whole world of new alternatives, new options and new ideas. In S. Covey's opinion, the main goal of being involved into a synergistic communication is to live up to one's potential, as it eliminates the limits and borders and provides possibilities for learning and growth. The whole essence of synergy is to value the differences. These differences between the...
