Some pros for Kimberly Clark are that the company has a great team environment, caring culture, schedule flexibility, strong management, and good career growth opportunities. The company focus's on keeping together as a team. The specific collection of values and norms that are shared by people and groups in an organization and that control the way they interact with each other and with stakeholders outside the organization is corporate culture. This concept determines how and the extent which, roles and responsibilities are delegated between levels of management. When employees have been working in the same position for the same organization for years, that employee may have become content with their position. "Although influence can occur between individuals (e.g. leadership, persuasion), social influence is widely seen to operate in the context of social groups, where group members can be the source and recipients of influence from other group members. The aim of social influence is to affect group norms that refer to a set of rules and expectations of how people should behave. Norms can either be prescriptive, in that they indicate what behaviors should be performed, or proscriptive, in that they indicate behaviors to be avoided. Norms serve the purpose of helping groups to interact successfully and to avoid group conflict. Three forms of social influence occur within groups that serve the function of formation, maintaining (social control) or changing (social change) group norms" (Martin, 2006).More and more companies are encouraging employees to give feedback and offer employees an opportunity to lead in their area of expertise. This gives employees a greater sense of satisfaction and a sense of control over their job. Empowerment encourages employees to do their best work since the company is displaying a trust and expectation that the company believes in the employees to do a good job. The company helps employee advance in the work place.
