Since 1973 when abortion became legalized in all 50 stats there has been a total of 55,772,015 abortions preformed. According to Ertelt in his article 55,772,015 Abortions in America Since Roe V. Wade in 1973, “3,300 abortions are preformed daily, 137 abortions per hour, and one abortion every thirty seconds” (2014). How sickening, since the year abortion was legalized not counting the illegal ones done before, there has been 55,772,015 innocent lives murdered. I am against abortion for the fact that everyone deserves life weather or not it is convenient for the parents and that every baby deserves the right to be born. Murder is known as taking another humans life. For a mother to make the decision to abort her baby is unjust. In our day and age abortion as become the most widely debated ethical topic. This topic becomes very complex and emotional regarding what is legal and what is ethical. What is said about the ethical issues usually relates to what people think is right or wrong and religious and personal views. The legal issues regularly revolve around on if it is right to tell a woman what she can and cannot do with her body.
No ones birth is/was a mistake, no one was created by accident. You might have been a surprise to your parents, but not a surprise to God. God made you and created you for a reason. Everyone on this plant, in their mothers womb, and that have not yet been created are all created because God wanted you to have life. Mothers that destroy a gift from God such as this are taking away a babies God given right to be born. Every baby has the right to be born, to be cherished, and live their life until their true maker: God, decides it is time for them to go. Abortion is selfish act for which parents only think about themselves and what is best for them.
“An abortion is when the pregnancy is ended (terminated) so that it does not result in the birth of a child”(bpass.org, 2014). There are two options for which it can be done. One is medical and the other is surgical. The medical option is taking an abortion pill, which causes your body to make you have a miscarriage.
