Requires case/report writing and the ability to integrate materials from previous courses to analyze and resolve complete business strategic planning problems. A final grade of "C" or better must be achieved to satisfy graduation requirementsPrerequisite: Senior status, completion of at least 33 hours of core requirements and at least six hours of upper-level courses within their identified major.Assessment Testing: In this course you will be required to take the Major Field Test (MFT) and you may be randomly selected to participate in the completion of the ETS Proficiency Profile. The MFT is a test of content mastery in your academic major. It takes two hours. The ETS Proficiency Profile is a test of proficiency in areas covered in your general education and foundation courses. It takes forty minutes. Both tests are nationally-standardized tests taken by thousands of students in the U.S. Columbia College uses your results and the results of every Columbia College student taking these tests to improve learning experiences in the curriculum. Your cooperation and honest effort contributes to the integrity and value of your education and are vital to the effectiveness of the Columbia College outcomes assessment program.Approximately half way through this course you will receive an email from the Executive Vice President and Dean for Academic Affairs of the College about the tests. If you are within reasonable distance of one of our 30 nationwide AHE Campuses, you will be asked to go to that campus to take the tests in a proctored setting.
