Tattoos and piercings are considered cool in popular culture, but they can be bad for the body. Different reasons are people can have an allergic reaction to metals used in the jewelry when having a piercing, and if a dirty needle is used in a tattoo, a person's body could get infected.
Body Piercings
Body piercings are cutting a part of the human body, creating an opening in which jewelry can be worn. If you ever decide to get a piercing make sure you're up to date with your immunizations. Also, if you plan to get a tongue or mouth piercing, make sure your teeth and gums are healthy. We wouldn’t want anything to go wrong with your mouth.
A tattoo is a form of body symbols or pictures made by, inserting a needle with ink in the skin.
Problems with piercings

Many people do not go threw this but there are plenty of problems with having a piercings such as, allergic reactions to metals, chocking if a tongue ring becomes loose, chipped teeth with the causing of by chomping n a tongue stud, or and infection, which can cause swelling, pain & oozing pus.
Tattooing can be dangerous

If nobody knows by now, tattooing can be very dangerous. For example, when people are using dirty needles for a tattoo it can cause effects to your body. Nobody wants that to happened. Make sure your asking if the needles are clean before they start to tattoo you. Examine the place your being tattooed at too. If the place is a wreck and dirty then maybe you should reconsider getting your tattoo done their because more then likely the materials they’re going to use for your tattoo is dirty and will cause serious side effects.
