Have you ever had those certain catchy songs that you just can not get out of your head? For me Taylor Swift is always at the top of my playlist. Taylor Swift was born on December 13, 1989 and grew up on a small tree farm. Swift has has a family background of singing in her family. Ever since she started recording her albums. she has written and performed all of her songs. Swift started becoming successful at a young age by performing and writing new songs whenever she got the chance. When Swift was 11 years old, she performed the national anthem at a Philadelphia 76ers NBA game. Another reason Swift deserves the title of being in the Country Music Hall of Fame is that she has many generous charitable contributions to the world. She would help out anyone if she had the chance, and always trying to get involved in any charities she can. At an auction she donated a signed guitar to benefit wounded warriors (Look to the Stars). The next charity that Swift donated to was Wish Upon A Hero’s Campaign. This charity helps women with cancer. (“Charity”) Swift also donated her prom dress of hers and with that she raised $1,200 for charity, to donate mydress.org-card (Charity work and causes).
The final reason that she deserves this title is because of the impact Swift has on many countries around the world. “Swift has a career record sales in excess of 26 million albums and 75 million song downloads worldwide, and her two most recent albums are two of only 18 albums in the entire history of music to sell more than 1 million copies in a single week.” (“newswire”) That shows how many people around the world listen to her music and buy her songs. Her Red Tour has also performed in Asia. Taylor Swifts, Red Tour has reached millions of fans around the world. All most all the stadiums Swift performs in are sold out within a couple days of the concert being announced. There is a very high demand for her concerts around the world. The Red Tour has been in Tokyo, Manila Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore (Newswire). Swift was not only the winner of the music industry's highest honor, also the youngest person to ever receive the award. (“facts”)
